BLUE TONGUE SKINKS

I noticed that when I feed Mortimer, my IJ, that he tends to go right for anything sweet and attempts to bypass all of the other stuff. (its all chopped up though, so try as he might its a futile effort) But I was wondering if a dab of honey would be a good treat? Or if he's getting a pretty green leafy meal if honey would be okay to kinda 'glue' all the bits together?

Feed fruit as treats rather than honey. There is no nutritional reason to feed honey.
