How do you guys brumate?
I have read many articles on the brumation of the bts. I have seen lowering overall temps, giving a few hours of light a day and giving no heat at all during the winter. Was curious what you guys do for brumating? (some do not and some do, I am most curious for the purposes of breeding)

Just noticed this hasn't gotten any replies yet...
It will vary depending on your climate - so hopefully you can get a few different viewpoints and then take the parts that work for you and figure out the best way for you. I find that I'm far enough north - I don't need to do anything, in November Northerns will just naturally start brumating with no help from me. For breeding purposes I'll be much more careful next winter (especially for timing when bringing them out), but it doesn't take much to get them to brumate.
My Meraukes are very hit or miss, most don't brumate without any input from me, they just slow down a bit.
Sorry - I next year will be my first year breeding, so I can't help you out specifically!
