What type of substrate does he have? What was in the box (or whatever) that he was shipped in? Is there any liquid coming from the nostrils or anything?

They tend to dig nose first into their substrate, so do sneeze quite often to clear their noses =D

I use bark chips as bedding witch makes sence now. lol it has been bulldozeing around a whole lot!,it was shipped inside a pillow case surrounded by shreaded paper in a box with taped up air holes...it was a very bad start. nothing coming out of the nostrils, however there seems to be a bit of build up like it was housed with dry ecoearth or sumthing by its previous owner, in it nose. i was also concerned cuz it was pouring rain the day it arrived. thought it may have gottin..a "cold"

Do you have previous experience with shipping reptiles? It doesn't sound like anything was seriously wrong from your description.

They are burrowing creatures, sneezing is completely normal. Like Nae said, watch for any kind of discharge from the eyes or nose, but if all you are noticing is sneezing then it should be just fine. :D
