We got Ruckus a bubbler for his water dish. We thought it would be something diffrent. WELL, Within half an hour of plugging it in He went nuts. Running around his cage super fast, changing directions mid scuddle. Climbin up and down. We unplugged the bubbler, and he kinda slowed down after a while, then went for a rest. Today we had it plugged in and when we got home, he was out n' about scuddling around but not as fast as yesterday.

Do you think it could be the bubbler?

I dont think so, he goes right over to it and looks at it. He did huff at it before, but we put his toy scull on top to it looked like the scull was making bubbles. We move it now though and he seems "cool" with it

Okay, well Ive come to the conclusion that it must be yhe bubbler. Do you think its sending out a high pitch noise only he can hear, or do you think its the vibrations? (you meaning anyone lol) Should I dicontinue use?
Its kinda nice, he was.sleeping all day, ten mins after plugging it in he was up and about. But if its hurting him I wont use it anymore

The vacuum cleaner bothers my guys quite a bit. My adult IJ gets rather frantic when we run it in the same room as his tank. We frequently listen to music and watch tv in this same room, I know its not the same noise as the vacuum, but he never reacts to other noises so I'm pretty confident that its really the vibrations that bother him.
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

yeah music doesnt bother my blueys (they'll curl up under my little subwoofer lol) but the vacuum sends them into hysterics.

It could be vibrations, it could be a noise...If its making him act wierd, and not in a good "I'm curious" way, then it could be a good idea to discontinue use.
