Yes they are more active in every way but especially in feeding, they
eat greens also but they love catfood, fruits and live food.
I did stop feeding them livefood like grasshoppers, they did go real grazy.

they certainly are active feeders,mine dont think much of greens,bit picky,they love meat and especially love moving objects,even when i top up there water bowl they bite at it,they see movement and go nuts,normally resulting in tipping water container over,they even get in a frenzy and nip at each others movements,best to seperate them if you feed live food,i thought blotchys were aggressive feeders,but westerns ive found to be the nastiest when foods involved,lol,they look like nice specimens

Can I ask how long you have owned them? Have you ever brumated them before? Any signs of breeding in the past?

mine are still probably to small for breeding,but i used to have a couple of older ones,cooling for brumation is just like shingle backs,you want to keep low humidity,i shut lights and all heating off,so temps probably average between a low of 8 to a day high of 16,but varies,what ever the room temp is,hoping to see some breeding next season,if an adult pr or group turn up in the mean time,at the right price,i may add to the the pr i have now

They love meat, but they eat also a lot of greens, I think it would be 60%
meat to 40%greens and fruits.
I dont feed them live food, they turn real grazy and easely hurt each other
The smaller one is the most curiouse one, it walks around the whole day,
but both are easy to pickup by hand and easy to handel.

They are from 2010, so to small to breed, I hope it will be a couple.

More Westerns, very nice looking too .Their heads don't look as big as boofs. Could It be because they are young? Or perhaps camera tricks. By the way, how old are they?
