Re: bang, northerns are off and running, mega early
Cool weather seemed to leave a few sluggish today
Though the biggest kunnanurra was straight onto the big fiesty kunnanurra lass today, young male covered her once in late may,may have been an excited male covering
Big males been having goes but giving up but has been showing more interest as time goes by and shes started to actually go out of her way to get some interest out of him, today he almost grabbed her out of my hands and persisted and gollowed through

Your guys have been busy Richard.
I haven't bothered introducing anything yet, don't know whether I want any younguns this season. My wife had a baby recently, things have been a little hectic here.

Re: bang, northerns are off and running, mega early
Well im starting to think big girls may be shutting up shop, big kunnanurra lass still gets some attention but male ends up giving up,has been cool of late and ive been not doing daily intros of late
Was getting a pic of a young male kunnanurra/prince regent with his prince regent mum and he ended up having a go with her,but she wouldnt lift tail and was to much for him to get control of,i believe shes been done and dusted for a while so swapped in a couple of small kunnanurra females and he dropped plugs on one, then covered the other one in above pic

Re: bang, northerns are off and running, mega early
Pencil in a 2nd mating for small kunnanurraa/prince regent male and an older but small kunnanurra female,he had a go at a 2nd small female first but lost grip and switched to this one so might try him on other first next time and switch them up a bit
Biggest males still trying with biggest kunnanurra female bit shes getting crabby with him stuffing about but not hitting the spot so she may be shutting up shop ,has been gaps of a few days between pairing her so might explain that

Re: bang, northerns are off and running, mega early
pencil in a 4th for young pale kunnanurra/prince regent male and his kunnanurra partner
was starting to think season was coming close to an end but....
big wild caught male kunnanurra i got from joe has finally woken up and i guess pencil in a first for him with another uoung kunnanurra lass, sister of one in last pic
2 others have piffed up and males started showing some attention so looks loke some are close to normal time of year
first 4 are done and dusted though, fiesty big lass is still getting the big males attention but shes biting back and they get rough which usuallu means shes done

Re: bang, northerns are off and running, mega early
This is a great thread Richard. It looks like you largely keep the same pairings for repeated matings rather than have them mate with multiple partners. Do these all live together in a big group? I'm wondering if/how you have them stick to your pairings and keep track of parentage for the offspring.
