Check your temperatures FIRST. Chances are that it won't get cold enough to need a night time heat source. Don't just throw a bulb in there in case, it need to cool down over night. Just don't let it get too cold - not below about 65F.

At night he seems to go to the same spot everytime. Which is the cooler end Idk why. My house is about 78 degrees and I leave the uvb rays on 24/7 and the heat lamp on from 7am-9pm in that time however he's all over the tank in different spots.

78 is on the hot side for night, you definitely don't need any extra heat. And turn the uvb off as well, he needs dark and cooler at night. Leaving uvb on does no good but will disrupt his sleep. Turn it off with the heat bulb, after about 12 hours.

I just wanted to emphasize on the vet even if he keeps eating. I had a little guy who looked like that, he was starting to look better then took a turn and past away. Dog food really helped. Check the temps and judge accordingly. I might try removing or relocating the cool hide so it forces him to sleep on the warm side, providing its not too warm. Good luck, keep us updated

only use night heat if room temps drop low over nite,if it drops only as low as 78 overnight you probably dont need to worry,but check on temps accuratly to know whats going on for sure

i set my house down to 71 because you said 78 was too warm. is that goo? btw everyone a vet apt. has been made and he is going in tomorow!

71 to 75 should be fine,but id still be checking that with a thermometer in the lizards enclosure,better to be safe,good luck with vets
