All the breeders on our list are highly experienced in shipping and it is extremely rare for anything to go wrong. Sure, it happens, but far less frequently than getting a recently imported skink that ends up with problems requiring veterinary care --can not tell you how often we have members here who have gotten a skink locally that ends up costing them a ton of money in vet bills, sometimes ending up with very poor outcomes... Happens much more frequently than receiving a DOA skink from an experienced breeder.
I understand being nervous about shipping; believe me, it's one of the things most breeders wish they could avoid. Few things make you more worried in the whole breeding process than putting a baby in a box and taking it to the shipping center ...fingers crossed, knock on wood
but in the years I've been shipping, other than a couple delays of a few hours, I have yet to have anything go wrong.
