My posts are in red and bold

DianaBlueTongue wrote:Hmmm, okay, thanks! I wonder why everyone was saying caramel then, I had originally had that thought too since lines with people names behind them are usually a known thing but figured that's what I heard here so went with it. Okay, back to light normal then. Hey! So then theoretically I could make my own line of light northerns then? That would be neat! haha, I know, Im a dreamer.
Theoretically, if it becomes a proven trait yes.
Im a pieces, can ya blame me?
yes

So the caramel albino a couple posts up in this thread the owner posted some pics of can only be produced from a c albino bred to either a het c albino or another c albino then?
Or also a het c albino to a het c albino

Hey I just realized I'm discussing Seadation's skinks not Diana's - sorry the thread got hijacked a bit!

Technically the Sunset and Caramel Northerns are Morphs as well, and they came before these to my knowledge.
There was also a white line of Northerns but I'm not sure what happened to those.

lmao, I know, I did too actually. *darn autocorrect.

That's right, I forgot about the white northerns and yeah, I guess the sunsets and caramels are morphs, I just ment genetic trait morphs, like the kinds where there are hets and visual hets, or are co dominant, the caramels and sunsets are line bred traits, right?

I just took a quick gander at the threads you made about Aggie here, and I don't think this is where you were told he's a Caramel.
He is a good looking Northern for sure, whatever you call him. :)

My female caramel is one of Ray's T+ albinos, although I've always just called her a caramel. Her eyes do the same in the pics listed above, which I've always thought was kind of cool the way they turn that steel bluish gray in the sunlight. If I were to breed her with Diana's Aggie, I would expect to get all caramels with a combination of eye color. What would those babies be?

In the past, I have bred her with classic tans. She has always thrown about 75% brown or caramel eyes and 25% dark eyes (most did not truly change line hers in sunlight but some showed a slight difference). About 25%of the babies come out caramel. Half look like the father. 25% or so are a deeper yellow than the mom with more pronounced markings and some dark patches down the side. The tan is always more of a deeper brown than the tan in the dad. I think they are the prettiest to be honest.

Normal het t+ albino with color influences from Diana's skink.
