I have now set these up in a larger, much more naturalistic vivarium with higher humidity, including a large live hanging plant suspended from the ceiling and a bunch of leaf litter. Looks very deep dark jungle. Ever since I saw the documentary Lost Land of the Volcano where they were finding blue tongues in deep rainforest in New Guinea, I have been thinking of trying a more jungle type set up for these. They definitely seem to like it....

I was actually thinking of trying to get a couple of pictures whilst it still looks good!

Here we go, although now I'm looking at these pics it doesn't look as good as I thought! A few more enhancements needed I think, in particular to obscure the wood sides and back of the vivarium. This is one of my older home made double stacks. I'm using the red bulb on a timer, to keep temps up at night as I'm letting the room temp down to approx 18 Celsius overnight in this room.
