Can't wait to see more photos. I find that once they eat the egg sack, they take a couple of days to start eating with avengence. I find that my light ones at birth tend to be pinkish to reddish as adults and the really orange ones stay orange, but I do get the odd suprise.
If you wait, all that happens is that you get older. M. Andretti

Hey Kim,
I almost didn't want to look at these - they look amazing! You talk as if it isn't that big of a deal but to my knowledge nigrolutea have not been bred in Europe for years!!

AWESOME! Kim, you have done more to increase US Blotched population than anyone I can think of. Are they all spoken for?

Actually, none are spoken for though I've had some serious inquiries. I'm holding 2 back for future breeders and another couple (temporarily)for trading and making available the other 5. Several of them are going into first sheds and I'll post pictures of them after they shed. This will give me a better idea of how they will look in terms of coloration. Some may develop more of a lined pattern as in the first picture. The original parents have very lined patterns. The 2nd pic is from a second litter in which both parents have the more traditional markings.
