the past is the past, that doesnt really matter now as its in your care, your in a cool climate and your keeping a tropical animal with a mild ri

i was asking about how your keeping it in the hope of it isnt quite right we could offer suggestions that may benefit your lizards recovery and keep it in great shape in the future

everyone makes mistakes, ive made plenty myself,so going on about its past or putting blame elsewhere instead of answering honestly doesnt help with fixing anything

normally correct conditions will fix mild ri,s by itself, for me thats bringing easterns indoors where they recover because my outside conditions dont suit them

alot of issues get missed because people are to proud to admit they may have stuffed up themselves, but how do you learn from mistakes if you are to stubborn to accept you may have made any in the first place

The ambient air temps are basically high 60's to mid 70's as I said before

thats what i gathered, but u just said basking temp plus cool end temp,so wasnt sure if u also meant over night temp, still not sure on that, lol

in the 60s is very low for tropical species, more like there winter cool temp ambient, not what you want for a recovering lizard of tropical origin

id be aiming for at least 75 at the coolest, preferably closer to 80,especially for an animal recovering from a ri,if most of cage is reasonably warm though u may be fine with it being cooler down cool end

night warmth it can cool off but should still be quite mild, active time of year there overnite lows are quite warm in nature, often in the mid 20s,and thats the low, with the heat of the day it takes ages for it to even cool to that low a temp,so most of night could be closer to 30 degrees

mid 60s is like there lowest temps,so if night ambient in cage is in that range thats mimicking cool season weather

hope that makes sense

you very well could have things right, but yeah, just trying to help just in case you dont

Yeah it's summer so now the ambient temp is about 75-78. And it's nice to hear from you that you think I'm doing my job right! She is actually pretty funny, she comes up to the glass and stares at me (GIVE ME FOOD!) for a bit, so then I come and feed her then she comes and rests her head at the edge of her cage. She likes being pet and sprayed lightly with a mister. She is still very nervous when I bring he out though, what am I supposed to do?? She comes out on her own and then she pees on me and sprints off trying to get under the couch! BUt yes she has almost completely stopped sneezing.
