The moss and substrate have dried significantly. They both still have moisture but are no longer soggy. The skinks are burying/tunneling in the moss inside their hides. Pretty sure they enjoy it very much. I think I'm going to keep using this moss in the future, but make it a day or two in advance like hurricanejen suggested.

OT but exciting so I'm going to say it anyways... Measured the skinks for the first time in a while. Apollo is 2 years old and measures a staggering 24 inches. Rocko is 8 months old and 18 inches long. Hopefully they both keep growing!

It looks like a rain forest! A lot of my hides molded a long the bottom when this happened to me. (Mine wasn't this wet though) Can you mix this with aspen to find a happy medium with humidity?
