Well just because your dad was a vet doesn't mean he knows everything. I've been to plenty of vets that have known nothing about the care and treatment of my animals

To me he does;D Ever since he saved our old doggys life. (he sliced a mussel open on somthing and my daddy held his leg together and stopped him from bleeding out for the 1 1/2 car ride to the vet:)

Yes vets tend to know all about the care of cats and dogs but not so much about other pets.

Suggesting a vet knows nothing about a species is as broad a generalisation I could envisage.

Thanks Norm. I know everyone means well and wasn't overly mean, but let's not make assumptions and keep it respectful. We can't assume things when we don't know the full story.
