This would be kind of difficult to clean entirely, but I remember a while back people questioning the necessity of sterilizing everything completely. I know a couple people only use soap and water to clean, rather than bleach or anything that sterilizes. I think that cleaning and sterilizing completely is much, much more of a concern if there is parasites, sick reptiles, mites etc.... but if you have quarantined the reptiles when first obtaining them and know they are in good health... I'm not sure that completely sterilizing every part is entirely necessary.
Obviously keeping the enclosure clean overall and spot cleaning, changing substrate is necessary... but beyond that, so sterilize everything?
I'd be interested to hear others thoughts on this.

I personally agree with only sterilizing when the animal is sick etc, and things that poop and food have touched. Everything else, like the walls, surfaces they cant touch etc, what is it exactly that you would be trying to clean off? Whatever is already on the lizard? Correct me if Im wrong but in my opinion only areas that the bluey touches with their belly (which may have food/poop on it), poops on or spills food on should be sterilized regularly. Everything else, and I repeat my earlier question, what is there to clean off it? Just soap and water for everything else IMO. Sterilize maybe every few months.
But I just realized I havent commented on this thread
. Looking awesome! Are the wholes in the trunks for food and water maybe? Or hides?
Just an idea, for the insides, maybe try painting them a darker brown instead of black?Going from brown to black just doesnt look all that natural imo, if its the natural look your going for of course. But even if you dont, its still going to look awesome regardless =D

I wish i could do this for a living
The trees can be removed, only the fake rocks & plants cant there hot glued...only the two back tree on the bottom enclosure are glued oh & the one to the left on the top doesn't either!!!Susann wrote:Absolutely AMAZING!
Are the different parts that you made STUCK to the viv, or can they be removed?
Because, if they can be removed, you could earn some serious money doing this.
I, for one, would be VERY interested!

(I'm not sure how to do these quote things, sorry!)
But as you asked, Herper, I would LOVE to get a sailfin dragon, but I think that may be falling through. I simply don't have the room for a tank that an adult would need, and I'm not one for keeping a poor lizard in to small of conditions. I would ADORE getting one though, some day I will.
But the tank looks amazing! I really do love your finish product, its very inspirational!
