Zach doesn't like bringing up old threads so generally we don't want threads greater than 3 months old posted in... but that really applies to threads with newbie concerns or general banter - stuff like "my skink isn't eating". We don't want someone replying a year later with suggestions or questions. I think it is fine to add new pictures because it is really nice to look at the growth and change. I have no problems with photo threads like this being the exception to the rule and never really worry about these ones. I'll ask the other mods what they think, we can probably make picture threads showing growth a logical exception.

Nice specimens. They look like aspers from the ACT area / western slopes of the Great dividing range. Although many Vic examples are dark , they almost always have some degree of pattern/speckling. Animals from Yass and Bathurst in NSW have coloring like those pictured.

The Aspera do well now, this sommer she did have a wett nose again.
Now I have to get here back on weight, I feed here flowers by hand everyday, she is from 450 grams back on 500.
In November I will start to cool them down.

The one in the front is the male, he allways is very curiouse, on the secound picture you see here.
Yes I hope this winter she will be abel to cooldown for atleast 8 weeks.

Fred, those are really awesome looking! How large do they get?

There is a lot off difference between the aspera, mine will be almost 30 cm but I have seen a couple that hits 50 cm easy.
