True - but in the forum rules, Zach doesn't want threads older than two months being brought up - it is often out of context and sometimes a few years old with members who haven't been on in ages! So it is great to bring up recent threads with excellent info, but if it is old then it is probably best just to send a link to me and I can add it to the links for newbies thread.
That way they are still good reference material and being read, but we don't have to bump them up and confuse people.-

Hi there,
I recently lost my pet skink (Kramer) to colitis, a very serious health concern. I wish I had found this form before as the information is very helpful. I strong encourage other people to pay attention to there pets feces as it can save the life of your pet.

It seems i always find these threads after I post a related question! Mind if I pick your brain on a few things? My little guys poop has been looking a bit different - not as nice and long/log shaped as when I first got him. More fat and compact and I have noticed Aspen in it. I also have not seen any urates for maybe two weeks? He poos every day and it takes him under 30 secs to do it. The one I was really worried about was when he sprayed a BUNCH of water (maybe pee) when he was pooping and struggled to push out two biggins. But he hadn't gone in a few days then so I assumed it was backlog.
He really doesn't seem to be struggling with his bathroom breaks, goes regular, and isnt irritable, but I m still wanting to make sure it sounds normal since I have no experience.

Question: my skink ate on Monday (yesterday) and hasn't really had a poop since a week before that (only because he was not eating I suppose from only focusing on finding a mate).
He peed today but that is about it.. Should I worry..?
