My normally friendly blue tongue skink bit me
Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here, but I’ve had my bluey for about a year and a half now. Icarus is a northern and he’s generally very sweet and friendly. However, while I was handling him today, he bit my arm. He’s never bitten me before, so I don’t know why he did this. Is it possible he was grumpy because I wouldn’t let him on my desk? I’m not sure. Please help!

Northerns are "in season" right now, and can be agitated and grumpy.
