Hi there! I’ve got a very sweet 7 month old bluey who’s currently in a small enclosure in my room. I take her out frequently to let her run around the garden and my room, and I plan to move her fully outdoors once it warms up a bit. (And take her back inside during bad weather and winter)
I’m putting together a large 2m x 1m wire enclosure that’ll have half full sun and half filtered sun, and I’d like to add in some plants because she really enjoys when I take her into the garden to walk around and get some sun. I’d like some suggestions for plants that are safe for her to nibble, and suited for a temperate climate. (I live in the Sydney region, which is her native environment as an eastern blue tongue.) I’m using coco coir topped with eucalyptus mulch and sandstone rocks for her to bask on/hide under and the height limit of the enclosure is 60cm but has a mesh roof.
Any suggestions would be great!

Honestly this enclosure is now filled with weeds of every description a large lavender bush and two clumps of juncus reeds + a few random succulents - the lizard doesn't try to eat anything. In your case some local and semi-local natives might be nice.
