Bluey gums bleeding
I recently got a bluetongue and am no super worried cause I took her to the vet and she was sick so I have been giving her meloxicam for the past week, today I copied what the vet did and open her mouth as gently as I could with a flat paper spoon but after around three seperate attempts at opening her mouth I noticed a small amount of blood on the spoon, will she be ok I’m just worried I hurt her?

Hi there, I think your skink will be okay. Sometimes they can bite down on a hard surface/object and break little capillary beds in their mouth. Try to go slow and from the side works the best.
