Looking to switch up my Irian Jaya's substrate soon. I typically use no float cypress much and Coconut Coir from Home Depot. It's cheaper than what you get at pet stores and is basically the same thing.
I'm going to be cleaning his tank within the next week or so and was looking to change things up. Anyone have any recommendations for different substrate? Keep in mind he's an IJ, so moisture retention is a must.

If what you're using is working I'd stick with it.
