Enclosure help

I don’t know if this is the correct place but I’ve been asking everywhere but got zero responses which is annoying.
I got a 4x2x2 melamine enclosure a few weeks ago as part of a double upgrade for two of my skinks. Unfortunately it had faulty locking screws that crumbled when I tried securing the structure so it doesn’t hold together at all, the only thing keeping it together is aquarium silicone which I don’t think will be enough. My first idea was to drill additional screws to screw it together but because it has a weird design it’s going to be difficult.
Then I found out about gorilla glue, I hear it is reptile safe, pretty strong and weather resistant, can I use it to just glue the enclosure together?

Personally, I would not trust adhesive alone, although it may work temporarily.
Melamine does not hold up to humidity, moist substrate, spilled water dishes, etc. It crumbles and rots. My advice would be to replace it with a PVC cage as soon as you can.

PVC cages especially a 4x2x2 or bigger are impossible to find in my country. I have easterns so they don’t live in a very humid climate, all my enclosures are wood and are sealed with silicone so any water doesn’t damage the uncoated parts.
