Humidity levels

Postby Andrea » Sat Feb 12, 2022 6:43 pm

That may be a stupid question but should I spray the tank even if the humidity levels are correct?
I live in Florida and without doing anything the hygrometer reads that the humidity level is always between 55% and 61%. I have a Northern and everything I read says that they need between 40% to 60% humidity, so I assume I don’t have to spray but I wanted to make sure in case there’s any benefit in doing it regardless every now and then?
Thank you!

Hi there, as long as your humidity is in the correct range you don't need to spray to add in more moisture.

Northerns can tolerate much lower levels than that. As posted above, nothing to worry about.
