Choosing the right Arcadia T5HO UVB?

Thinking about getting a UVB strip for my Irian Jaya Blue Tongue Skink and I don't really know how to choose the correct one? I keep seeing 12% T5HO.

More info: It would be placed on top of the tank, over a screen. The screen is roughly 11 above the substrate.

From that distance I would use the Arcadia 12% and make sure the fixture has a reflector and that it can sit on top of the enclosure flat. I use a sunblaster t5 fixture with my Arcadia bulbs and mine are installed on the ceiling of my vivs. With that particular fixture it rest flat on a screen but check out the Pro t5 kit it comes with the bulb and fixture look on lightyourreptiles.com. They are a US supplier of Arcadia products call the number on the website and ask for Todd and tell him your setup and he’ll tell you exactly what you need. He’s super nice and he knows his stuff.

I have an IJ as well and his 12% is about 8 inches from the basking area but I run mine unreflected because it’s to close to run with the reflector. With the reflector and through a screen your distance should be good the screen will block some of the uvb is it larger holes or tight mesh?

If it’s tight mesh I’d think the t5 12% would be good but I’d call Todd at lightyourreptiles.com and tell your setup and distances to basking area etc. and he’ll help you. I was referred to him 4 years ago when I changed all my lights to Arcadia and he’s awesome.
