So I came here a while ago with my new bluetongues and some of you mentioned it would be best to separate them in case they decided to fight or breed. While I was setting up their second enclosure they started to display mating behaviour so I cut a couple corners do separate them right away as I'm hardly an experienced keeper or a vet so breeding them seems like a terrible idea.
Guess I was too late because a blood test of the female showed abnormally high levels of calcium and phosphorus in her blood that the vet said she believes is a sign she's preparing for babies. Over the past month she's become increasingly skittish around me, gone off her food for a bit of basks all the time, and will not eat only dog food and only a tiny bit at a time.
Unfortunately despite her calcium and phosphorus being high it's still at a 2/1 ratio which means she's at risk of dipping below that if she keeps rejecting her veggies. I've been putting liquid calcium in the water but I'd really like to get more calcium and some other vitamins in her too because it's looking increasingly likely she's gravid. She basks or hides, no exploring and doesn't come ask for cuddles or to be let out anymore.
How can I get healthy nutrients in my skink when she's eating one small mouthful a day at most? Is there a limit to how much you can put on one small meal before they'll reject it or its unhealthy? This is all very new to me and I'd really like to not stuff this up so I can have a healthy skink and maybe even some healthy babies.
Also how far along well she start showing most likely? There's not a huge change in her body that I've seen so far but it's probably been a month at most since she was impregnated. Also it's hard to tell because I've been avoiding handling her and she likes to hide when she notices I'm looking at her
TIA! Sincerely, a dumbutt* who should have listened faster

Re: Advice on gravid blues and supplements
I have been breeding for six years and my skinks rarely touch vegetables. When my females are gravid and go off feed I'll offer some raw egg with calcium plus D3 powder. Hard boiled egg chopped finely may work also mixed with same. They also favor live food if any at this time. Handling of gravid females is not recommended unless absolutely necessary. Gestation periods vary with northerns topping out at 98-130 days and easterns rarely exceed 90. My skinks (when gravid) do not even like me going into their enclosure to change food, water or clean up. Stressful time for them, intervene only when necessary.

Re: Advice on gravid blues and supplements
Thanks! I got get to eat a little baby food mixed with supplements which was great to see. Stress definitely very nervous around me, and I'd heard not to touch them unless necessary to help keep stress down and conserve energy so I've been leaving her be. I'm a lot less worried now that she's had a good dose of healthy stuff. I also got a peek at her belly and weighed her today while I was faffing about in her enclosure and she's bulked up and gained a little weight. I'm going to keep presenting food and giving her peace and quiet, and prepare for babies in December. I'm pretty sure she's a month along
