Hello all,
I got my northern blue tongue skink from splashy. He ( chip ) is a little over 2 months. I have been feeding the following:
Cat food
Repashy ( once or twice a week)
Can o worms ( mix it with cat food sometimes)
Can o snails ( as a treat)
All the foods I dust with calcium (w/o d3) and multi vitamins.
I have fed him blue berries and a small piece of strawberry once so far.
Is it ok to Introduce vegetable and fruit as a regular diet in limited quanities? Or should I stick to protein only?
On an unrelated note:
He is not fully tame but I am surprised at how fast he is progressing. He allows me to pet him while eating. He does his thing and basks while I am watching TV and doesn't even flinch when I come close. Today he was waiting for me by the door waiting to be fed; he let me lift him without hissing at all.
The first month, he'd run to his hide the minute he sees me lol.
Thanks for all your responses in advance.

You may introduce vegetables and fruit. Mine actually love peas and carrots.

Yes it is wise to start introducing a wide variety of veggies and fruits. Mix them all together with a protein source so they can't pick out their favorites. I food process mine. This helps so your skink learns not to be picky as they get older.
