Swollen and Immobile Arm

I have a very young blue tongue skink who I noticed has a swollen arm which is pretty much Immobile when he scoots around. Until a couple days ago he would dart away from me whenever he'd see me and now he is much slower to do so. He doesn't seem to go after the superworms I throw in front of him either though he still looks of a good weight.

My thoughts are that either
1) one of the superworms I threw in front of him that he didn't eat and climbed on him bit his arm causing it to swell (or one of the crickets I let roam in the cage)
2) I may have accidentally hurt his arm when I had picked him up as he was wiggling to get away a couple days ago in an effort to start getting him used to being handled.
3) He appears about to shed or is starting to and it is swollen because of skin compressing his arm

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Below is a brief summary of how he is housed / fed
- 75 gallon tank
- Cypress mulch substrate
- 100 degree basking and 80 degree ambient
- mist the tank down several times a day
- feed crickets which I allow to roam around for him to get whenever he wants and throw down the occasional superworms in front of him

I would get it checked by a reptile vet asap. May be broken

+1 to Janellas suggestion. Get your skink booked in for a consult with a reptile vet as soon as you can.

I dealt with this once before after a breeding accident. Thankfully, in my case, X-rays came up negative for a break. My skink was put on oral anti-inflammatory medication for a week and was back to good.

A cricket or SW would not cause that. Vet check. As soon as possible.
