Chasing his tail?

Postby chiwiithadhd » Tue Jan 12, 2021 2:53 pm

Okay, I'm most likely being a paranoid mum here but Iv'e never seen him do this?

He keeps curling into a circle and it kind of looks like he's trying to reach his tail with his mouth and he keeps sort of diving to nip at it...
I mean he could just be spinning to start shedding or something but idk why he's trying to reach his tail.

I checked him for tics and touched his tail to check it wasn't painful but he didn't react to that at all so I'm assuming its not that.

Again, sorry if i'm being overly paranoid
(It won’t let me upload a vid or pic)

When my BTS was about a year old I cut the food from daily to every second day. He was in the garden with me one summers day and discovered his tail and was spinning and trying to nip it. I was also worried, but he soon forgot about his tail and hasn't bothered it that I have seen since.
He is a year and a half now and eats every three days and still has a full tail :ohyes:
