Sleeping with mouth slightly open

Okay so probably just me worrying but does anyone elses skink sleep with their mouth ever so slightly open? Ventress has started doing this once in a while and it really worries me, i start thinking he has an RI or something but if i wake him up as soon as he opens his eyes he closes his mouth. Any ideas if i should worry or if he is just purposely trying to give me heart failure from panicking?!

Take a picture. I think I know what you mean and it if is what I am thinking it is normal and nothing to worry about.

My seven year old northern has been doing this his entire life. Sometimes he even has his tongue hanging out. He is in perfect health and my best breeder. If there are no other signs it's more than likely perfectly normal.

Thankyou! No hes fine energetic, eating, pooing etc all normal he just likes to worry me i think!

Woke him up taking the picture and he closed mouth a second later but this is what i mean

Very common. If I worried about this I'd have to rent a room at my vet.

Thanks so much, it seems to just be his relaxed face, but with him having a sensitive little chest and him being such a princess i like to check with you guys that it’s normal!
