Help with bts subspecies identification

Postby Tj9 » Fri Dec 04, 2020 9:56 am

Can someone help me figure out what subspecies this skink is? I’m purchasing him from someone and the person doesn’t know the subspecies but says they keep him in pretty high humidity. They bought him at a reptile expo and state he is captive bred.

Irian Jaya. They tend to be pretty hardy and do well with humidity levels ranging from 60%-90%.

Likely imported. He looks healthy and I have a soft spot for Irian Jayas so maybe I'm biased but why not.
