Hi all, new to the group so thanks for having me.
Have had my blueys for the last year. I really enjoy these guys.
They seem to be doing everything right and have been free of any medical issues.
Just moved them from the inside tank to the outside pit.
Shedding has been going great, and I'm enjoying the collection of little feet as they have been shedding whole little booties!
My big guy has had an issue on his face , just as the last shed happened. Can't seem to find a similar picture of what it has,... So just asking if it looks familiar to somebody. It's really dry, and just a one-off.
Thank you in advance

Could he have had an altercation with another one?

Oh, I never thought of that. I've never seen any aggression between the two... But a possibility for sure. I look at them everyday though, and never saw a wound.... Just peeled off it's recent shed and it was there.

Re: Blemish / scale problem
If there are two males in there it's possible. My females have cohabitated since they were neonates, but they are also littermates and get along. Even sometimes a m/f pair will have the occasional altercation. I've witnessed this behavior myself with my own, therefore, I only introduce at breeding season. I'm talking Easterns here, two northerns regardless of gender should never be kept together, unless in a huge outdoor type like you guys over there commonly have. I've seen this work at times, but northerns generally hate each other.
