Taking BTS with you if moving?

Hello, I've been planning for years to get a blue tongue skink however I do not want to get one if I am unsure about my housing situation. I may or may not move to another country in years time. So that leads me to check, is there laws against taking your pet out of the country with you since it is a native reptile? Thank you for your time.

In Australia there is a law preventing you from doing that.
