Merauke Breeding Season
As some of you may have already seen, a few people have been getting locks with their Meraukes in the past week. My male has mated two separate females in the past 3 days with a few more in the rotation so fingers crossed. So glad to see more people having success with some of the Gigas subspecies in recent years! Thank you to the ones that paved the way!
*On a side note, one of my females sustained injuries during mating. I suspected a broken arm. Thankfully, X-rays proved my suspicions false. To anybody local, All Creatures Veterinary Care Center in South Jersey did an excellent job with my skink.

Noodles needs a mate I think. He is off of feeding, glass surfing, and when out on the constant move. Poor dude.

Re: Merauke Breeding Season
In all my years of keeping reptiles, my most exciting moment was seeing my first litter of baby Northerns. Awwwwwww...........Happened the first time when I was at work. The following year I actually witnessed it, and again the following years! Can't explain the feeling! And the more we produce, the less money goes into the import trade....
Ya gotta do it!
Ya gotta do it!
