Hey, i would like to know if BTS's like to be on ground or higher ...or maybe they don't care, i.e. chameleons like to be higher and can get stressed if they are on ground.
In the future i'd like to have bearded dragon and i know they try to be higher in enclosure so they can watch surroundings. I have my BTS approx. 3feet (90cm) high right. When i make enclosure for beardie, i can leave my BTS where he is now (and beardie enclosure on ground) or i can place him on the ground if that would be better for him.

Re: BTS Enclosure placement
Eye level or close is best. Reptiles don't like to be reached down at, as predators often come from above. I would never place a reptile cage on the floor. It is also the coldest part of the room.
