Is my blue tongue hurt?

So I am new to this forum and I actually just got my bts three days ago. He seemed healthy when I checked him, but after a few days I started to notice that he was walking strangely. He walks with only three of his legs and his left arm is always pressed to his body. I don't want to pick him up because I want him to adjust to his new home, but I also do not want to risk hurting him. Please let me know if this is a concern, or if I should follow up with a vet. A picture and video to show how he is walking.

Hi personally would have the leg looked at. Having it constantly pressed to the body is not normal and by the looks of your video, your skink isn't using it all all when he moves. Time for a vet visit. Please let us know what they say.

Took him to the vet today and the doctor said it was a broken leg, overall seems like a very healthy skink and is adjusting extremely well. He should heal up in about two weeks! glad it was not anything extremely serious.

I had a feeling it was broke. Poor little skinkie. Hopefully in a few weeks he will be good as new. Keep us updated ok?

Likely a broken arm , needs Xrays and to be reset (surgically , may need a metal pin inserted to stabilize it while it heals , will need to be done under a GA and will be sent home with the arm and shoulder immobilized in a special lizard caste , with antibiotic / anti-inflammatory / pain relief injections .

Likely , if it's the same issue my George had as a juvenile ( broken upper arm ) will need pain relief injections every 2nd day for 3 to 4 weeks and the caste left on for 2 months. In George's case the Xray was done on the Monday, and he was operated on Tuesday morning , vet made a special surgical stainless steel pin for his broken arm bone , and he was home Tuesday afternoon , and good as gold 2 months later, you'd never be able to tell he ever had a broken arm . I never did figure out how the injury happened , having the arm in a caste never slowed him down either , though he did look comical with his left arm poking out perpendicular to his chest in a caste .

I had to make adjustments to his tank to stop him from hanging up and getting stuck because his left arm and cast was in the way .

This wont heal by itself.

My advise find a very good reptile vet surgeon to handle this .
