Hi I was wandering if I could be allergic to my blue tongue skink
I had my blue tongue skink out tonight and I noticed a red mark on my wrist when I went to wash my hands. I’m not sure how long it’s been there I know I could not have been there very long before I got him out. Just curious thanks

Your skink may have scratched you. They have pretty small claws, but can give you a mark. Could be just that?

More than likely from a scratch. I am allergic to just about everything and have never heard of anyone being allergic to a reptile.

It’s very rare to be allergic to reptiles. I’ve never seen it before reptiles don’t produce dandruff like cats or dogs.
