Type of Skink?

Postby Onesidedwolf » Wed Apr 24, 2019 10:04 am

I am interested in a very sweet blue tongue at a local pet shop. He's been vet cleared and everything, and the poor baby is on sale because he's hard to sell. I just wanna know what type of bluey he is before buying so I can make sure he is properly taken care of. I don't have many pictures since he's not mine yet. They say he's a merauke but I don't think that's right. Thanks.

Appears IJ or possible hybrid. See if you can get some more pics.

I can't get anymore pics until tomorrow. These are the other ones we took today. I just want to make sure I get the right substrate, humidity, etc.

Well, it is definitely not Australian, so I would lean towards Indonesian of some kind. Possibly two types of Indo hybridized.

I agree looks like a IJ to me too. They require higher humidity.
