Ate Poop and Substrate

Fiona, my adult male who I personally have owned for a little over a year just for what I am pretty sure is first time in my care ate a fairly large pile of feces I had yet to clean and the surrounding bedding. Fiona is (although wasn't in the beginning) a great eater and is only fed once a week to avoid gaining even more weight (got fairly chubby in my care although vet isn't really worried much about that). I last fed him this Thursday or Friday can't remember now but generally feed Wednesdays or Thursdays its not a 100% consistent schedule. Back to the issue though, I am most concerned with the small amount of repti bark eaten than the poop. I wonder if it was because it was the second time Fiona ate snails and maybe smelled some not broken down in the feces?

I'm sure this happens more than we realize, and these guys have quite a digestive system. I wouldn't worry unless you see changes in eating habits.
