Wood lice?

Hello all, I have read previous threads on this but some were too old to comment. So I believe I have wood lice, I have had mites before and these are not them. These seem to just be interested in leftover food, I have never seen any on my BTS. They are darker in colour. I can try to get a picture.

Isopods sometimes suffer the misnomer of 'wood lice' as they are often found in rotting logs. They seldom just appear, though unless you collect wood from outside and put it in your cage untreated. Are they tiny like mites? If so you may just have a harmless type of mite that seems to come out of nowhere. I had them about a year ago in my community tank and when they seemed to be getting a bit too numerous I introduced Isopods and dermastids and this took care of the issue. They never bothered the lizards, like you said were just interested in leftovers. They were sort of light tan in color sort of like the background on this page. I don't think I'd like them in my bluey's tanks though. I don't want anything living in there but the skinks themselves!

I've tried using a new substrate and disinfecting everything but after a while they seem to come back.
Should I just re bake and 10% bleach solution everything?
Any suggestions on how to get rid of them or how they come back. Or if I should ignore?

They definitely help break down poop if you have enough.
You'll just need a lot.

No clue. Never seen those before. I'd get 'em out of there, seems like an awful lot of them.

I would definitely get them out of there because they could become irritating to your animal (especially in high numbers)
