Questions about mating
hi my easterns bred for the first time this arvo while i was exercising them in a room under supervision i let them mate but i am wondering is mating always succsessful? is there such the as phantom pregnancies or not being fertiliesed even though they mated? they stopped by themselves

I hope you don't mind, but I split this question from the other topic.
There are no guarantees that babies will ensue after one or even many matings. Having your skinks properly cycled and mated at the right time of year and temperatures increases your chances of a successful gravidity, but unfortunately breeding blue tongue skinks can be a seemingly eternal guessing game.
