Housing Two BTS together?

Hi all :)
I have a gorgeous seven year old female BTS that was previously houses happily without issues with an adult male BTS (passed on five years ago unfortunately :( ). I was wondering if I could adopt (as there are many online that people are trying to 'get rid of') an adult male and introduce him to my girl without there being any hassles? Could this turn out horribly?

Yes I could turn out horribly. But it can be done. I see that you are in Australia. I know a few keepers there that have successfully kept them together in outdoor pits. The more room you can provide with plenty of hiding spots the better. Even kept in large pits there still could be some issues. Do you know what species you have? Hopefully some of the Australian keepers will chime who have more experience about the subject.

It can be done, like starscream says, with a lot of supervision and a lot of space. I haven't done it myself, so I can't offer any more advice than that. However, if you are housing inside in a tank, the safest way would be to add a new tank for the new one --and if babies are what you're after (I'm assuming since it's a male you're looking for), just introduce them during mating-time.

Yes they can be housed together even in groups

But....

Its not as simple as just chucking them together,most of mine ive raised together so they follow pecking orders,but even then at times i still have to pull some from groups due to competition/fighting ect

Keeping them together is always a risk,keeping alone rules out all thise stresses
