Time for another update.

Treasure has been going good. We have just been involved in the annual educational display put on by the local herp society. Lainey and I volunteered for 5 very full days, but she did such a great job helping to clean and set up 20-odd enclosures and showing and talking to the public on the lizard display. So proud! Her love for reptiles is still huge and so knowledgeable. She was the youngest volunteer and did a great job talking with the kids, especially good for one normally so shy.

She displayed Treasure for a couple of the days too and everyone thought he was just beautiful (and many didnt even know there were different types of bluey or about blotchies at all!).

Anyway we have all settled back down now after all the excitement.

Treated for mites as a precaution and laughed so hard when I got up one morning to find this:

Just had yet another shed too, this time colours have come up really good, I think starting to get into them.

Gutsing some goodies:

Looking great Ali, and its also great to hear how involved Lainey is still with reptiles and helping teach other kids how cool they are, it's a shame when they grow up thinking they are bad because some adult told them so.
Your bub looks so majestic when it eats where as mine looks like its just rolled around in the food like a pig, oh well can't all be lookers haha.
Love that first picture of him under the newspaper looks great.
Edit: Oh hows his personality now?

Yeah, awesome right?! Must have taken some persistence, all wrapped up like fish and chips.

Still keeps to himself, likes to be left alone really but is very tolerant too and a bit huff but not much more. Seems a bit of an 'anxious' lizard with us to tell you the truth. Has been wandering and exploring more around the house lately which is a good change (I think) but still certainly no Dynamo!

Yeah sounds like my Myra, when you take him out have you tried wrapping him in a towel with his head poking out so you can still give him a little pat or chin scratch, might make him feel safer to be handled knowing he has the option to retreat if threatened/scared.
