New skinks from Ray over at Thunderbay Herps, and others

Postby Jbolar » Wed Oct 21, 2015 10:54 am

So, I managed to get my hands on some of Rays Turner offspring and I'm so excited about these animals. Talk about immaculate animals and just pure perfection when it comes to a northern.
They far exceeded my expectations. In addition to that i have recieved an incredible T+ carmel as well (didn't get photos due to heavy over cast and a quickly vanishing sun). Been working somewhat hard to put together a killer skink group for breeding. I've very quickly become very fond of these animals (well the Australian stuff at least)

Anyway a massive Thank you to Ray and here are the photos.

I also had the opportunity to see James Fenn at the Tucson reptile show where i bought what i believe to be one of the better orange Northerns on his table.

It's definitely an interesting animal. i had played with it for a good hour or so, and attempted to get as much background info as possible. the entire 8 or so hours at that show he told every single person it was an albino. I wasn't there to argue i was there to get a Skink which i did. I have a couple of Fenn animals and they are pretty different from the stuff out there.

Thanks Kurt, Put A lot of work into this whole group, and really looking forward to this upcoming breeding season, finally have enough adult animals to do my own pairing. my hope goal is to produce 4 to 6 litters depending on how my gender ratios play out. assuming all goes well and i can get the remaining 7 animals to size in time i maybe be able to an insane year.. but this is all speculative considering how difficult breeding can by and timing for everything.

Wow, What Beauties!!! I was lucky enough to find you, in my search for Northern Blueys. It seems a bit hard these
days and when you do find one for sale, you end up in a line of people already ahead of you.
Im really getting tired of all the pushing and shoving! LOL Anyway, I notice your post was last year, so Im
wondering if you have any expected little ones? Id like a couple of pairs one darker pair, of Northerns, more caramel, redish, and the other lighter colored. Since watch Bob Ball, I think his name is, from Australia, He has some beautiful animals.
Anyway, If you do get any babies, please let me know ok. My email is Bluesrains@yahoo.com My name Is Jennifer.
I hope all your babies are doing well.
