Irwin has girls on the mind?

Postby RosiePosie06 » Tue Jan 26, 2016 11:35 am

My BTS keeps dropping sperm plugs and has no appetite! Is it breeding season and he's just sexually frustrated? Also I think he presented his hemipenes this morning! I freaked out because I hadn't seen that before and thought it might be a prolapse. But his cloacal area looks good as new. Just wanted to make sure this is all normal.

How long can they go without eating? It's been a couple weeks, and it's not for lack of trying! He just looks a the food and then goes back to exploring his terrarium.

My Northern male hasn't eaten regularly for about six weeks. He is very active, and when offered food turns away and has also dropped plugs. Normal behavior for them at this time. In summer he eats like a stray dog.
