Quick Juju update & question

Hey all, I've managed to nab a couple of new pics of Juju (short for Bad Juju because of her "lovely" attitude ). I did a full viv clean & substrate change to something that should help keep the humidity a little more where I want it. She's still very shy & hardly stays out of her hides while people are about, but I had to go into today because she did need a nice clean out.

She took a little effort to bring her out of her viv (she's a lot faster than expected lol) & she did pee all over the wall of her viv. But after a few minuets she calmed herself down enough to stop hissing & eat some blueberries & give me the stinkeye while I snapped a pic or two. I notice that the skin on her tail was a little dull however & I was wondering if it's just a matter of her still having to shed it?

And here is her adjusted baby Viv (I really wish that red plant was green, but when buying online you get the colour they send). The substrate is a blend I picked up at the Doncaster Reptile show here in the UK. It's a mix of Eco Earth, Orchid bark chips & moss. It's custom made by the seller for reptiles that prefer to burrow (Diggers Mix). I did add a light sprinkling of orchid bark chips on top (mostly for aesthetics). I've also added a small plastic box with some moist moss to act as a humid hide for her & popped two blueberries in as a little treat for her "allowing" us to clean her out lol.

It definitely looks like she's about to shed, they usually go quite dull and sometimes milky looking before a shed. Give it a few days and she probably will do.

You also might see a change in her behaviour, because you are getting into winter now in the UK, so she might naturally want to brumate. She may hide more and spend less time outside her hide, or go off her food. As long as you maintain sufficient temperatures, it's fine to offer food still, but she may start to turn it down, just see how she goes. She's looking a great size, so she should be fine to brumate.
