Finally saw signs of mating and actual mating today,seems the young male pipped his old man to the female they have been hanging off,in second pic is another female that appears have been copping some attention to,just about to shed but shoulder areas been grabbed a bit with scuffing and sheds come loose there,both younger females to

Just like the indoor ones back in late august,he persisted all afternoon and if he wasnt trying to mate her he just sat there holding her,the two old boys were hanging around but old old boy didnt seem to fussed and was checking others out

First season this males showed interest to and hes very persistant,had no care the old boy was biting at him in the lead up,was just concentrating on the female

Been working late afternoon shifts last couple of days so no further action seen but males are strutting,4 females appear to have copped attention so far,only seen the one getting covered though

This is the female i noticed about ready to shed that had some skin scuffed up from males grabbing her,shes half way through a shed today

Well after a few days off work and not checking on the blotchues,back to work today and found an even younger male covering the popular vic alpine lass,hes alot smaller than the other 3 males but has definatly woken up

Not long after he jumped onto a second female thats been getting attention,the one i found with scuffing due to shed the other day

Apparently my boots didnt phase his efforts

The other young male looking on became agitated so i prevented him from going over to hassle but whilst doing that the big dominant male charged over and there was a challenge

The young fella didnt back down so i seperated them,took some video of the male combat,might stick it up on my utube page
