eye problem
I just got this little guy a day ago. I noticed tonight that he has a white mark by his eye. I know that he was previously held with another BTS and i did not know if this white mark was a little bit mark,; or something more serious. Any help would be appreciated!

Re: eye problem
Sure does look like an injury of some sort. Is it dry, or "weepy"?
If it's dry I would just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't turn red or start swelling, it should clear up in a couple sheds. If it's weepy I might have a vet look at it and give you an ophthalmic ointment for it.

Kind of looks like the scale has come off if thats the case then it would clear up in a few sheds like Susann said

Re: eye problem
Ok then yeah dry is good, if it was a mucus or wet it could be some kind of infection but it being dry gives me the opinion that it is a just a missing/damaged scale(s) and him not flinching if you touch it means that he isn't in any sort of pain from it, should heal up over the next few sheds but as Susann stated just keep an eye on it in case it turns red or inflamed or anything but it should be nothing to worry about.
