Creative terrarium designing.

I am building my own BTS terrarium and everything is coming along nicely. I am loving my design and I have only spent 40$ so far.all I have left to do is staple down the screen and create the doors.i was thinking a sheet of clear acrylic it into two 2'x20" sections with hinges and magnetic stoppers. Any other creative ideas? If anyone wants my plans I can gladly give them to you. It's a cheap and effective build that my friend has given me the plans for. It's a design you don't see quite often. Also, all input of interior design other than the obvious water bowl and hides would be nice. Preferred substrates? Hopefully I will have it done by my birthday tomorrow. I can build one for any of Yall if interested but don't wanna build yourself.

That's a really neat design! Make sure you seal it first, otherwise the wood is eventually going to rot.

As for substrates, it really depends on what species/subspecies of blue tongue you have. The Indonesian subspecies will require higher humidity, so use things like cypress mulch, eco earth, top soil, and other such substrates. If you have a Northern, many people like to use aspen bedding. Some decorations which I really nice to have are cork bark logs. They hold up to humidity really well, they're light weight, and they make perfect hides for you skink.
