Tanks

Postby j_silv » Sun Jun 21, 2015 2:18 pm

Hi, i was wondering if any of you know where i can find good but cheap tanks. I know floor space is important, not hight. The ones i see online are all around 300 dollars and I feel like i can get one cheaper. I'm going to a reptile expo on July 12 and want to have the tank all set up before i bring my skink home.

Thanks for your help! :help me:

(also does anyone have any recommendations for natural looking and easy to clean substrate?)

You should definitely check Craigslist for people selling used tanks in your area. Many times they are trying to get rid of a tank to clear up space, and will offer a great deal. I got my 40 gal. breeder on Craigslist for $20 (the seller threw in a free stand for it too), and all I had to do was wash the dust out.
