Use Crested Gecko Diet As Spice?

Postby MechHAN » Fri May 08, 2015 6:06 am

I've seen a lot of people post the "skink no eat food" problem,I have to say I had same problem, but over all my Yig love meat,as long as i mix meat bits in food, it's ok,but for those more picky ones,CGD(Crested Gecko Diet) may offer some help.
I found this last month when vet say my pet get parasite problem and tell me put some medicine in his food.Even he love meat,Yig refuse to eat anything that with medicine on it.I also have a gargoyle gecko in my home and i use Repashy CGD as his food,it small like tasty fruit and even I would like to have some(never really eat that),So I dust very few CGD on the beaf with medicine, and he take it without hesitate. So I think maybe CGD can be used as spice for Blue tongue, like pepper on steak?

What a brilliant idea !!

For picky eaters who won't eat their veggies even when mixed with meat a dash or two may help

However, if your skink does go off his or her food completely or looks ill I would rule out a health issue first :)

Any ideas what to look for in the ingredients list to get that yummy spice flavour? Just wondering if such things will vary in ingredients across different locations.
